there's an unspoken camaraderie on a start line. we want it louder.
pippa and kellie started forthegirls after one too many races where the women were easy to count. we're based in the north west, we ride and run the courses together before race day, and we campaign to even out the starting line.

our goal is a 50:50 start line. ironman are behind it and female registrations are tracking way ahead of last year. we held two course recces in 2026, and there's plenty more to come to support the community in '27.
